Electric BMW 1602

The Late Brake Show featured this 1975 BMW EV resto-mod and we agree it's the perfect electric classic car for city driving in the likes of London. Jerry Dhillon commissioned his ideal classic BMW for London city life based on a 1975 1602 model. Jerry had Electric Classic Cars in Wales perform a ground-up restoration, followed by an EV conversion that provides ample performance (120bhp, 7.5 0-62) and a real world range of 240km. It's such a beautiful colour and the conversion is top notch, it's not overdone, but it is great!

Electric Land Rover by Jaunt

EV conversions of a classic Land Rovers is the domain of Jaunt. It's all about adventure. Technologically advanced, while also maintaining a retro interior that's very appropriate for iconic Land Rovers. Fully restored, beautiful paintwork and small, carefully thought our touches make it very special. Australians love to camp and go into nature which may explain why these classic electric cars are so incredibly popular.

This video talks about Jaunt's vision which is quite lovely.

Paul Smith Mini by Recharged Heritage

Paul Smith designed an electric Mini with the pops of colour and a clean design he's well known for. The bespoke Classic Mini upcycling and electric conversion is carried out in the UK Recharged Heritage. Sir Paul’s vision was to recharge a Classic Mini with a focus on quality, sustainability and functionality... while staying true to MINI’s heritage. We at Converto Cars love this vision an it's exactly what we are aiming to achieve with our Triumph GT6 electric conversion.
